Cyber Wellness Tips

1) Be sharp and astute, don't believe everything you see online. Practise good judgment and do not easily trust or give away important personal information to strangers on your blog.

2) Be responsible and have a sense of respect for yourself and others. Do not abuse the power of the Internet by engaging in spamming, hacking or cyber-bullying on blogs.

3) Do not get into relationships easily with people we get to know from blogs, as they are from the virtual world, we'll never know who they really are.

4) Do not spend the whole day infront of your computer just to post on your blog / visit other blogs. There are several dangers of staying on the Internet all the time. Many of the symptoms are similar to those of anxiety and depression.

Here are some symptoms people experience when they are using the internet too much :
-Never feeling like they get enough time with the internet
-Falling behind on work and other activities
-Physical complaints, such as headaches, dry eyes, backaches.
-Reduction in personal hygiene and self care habits.
